Introducing December Themed Editorial Content: Hotels & Resorts
As you know we launched an expansion of our Social Media Club Editorial Team back in September, by hosting guest bloggers to highlight a different vertical within social media. The first week of each month we host themed content featuring true social media professionals who are in the trenches within their niche, with December featuring hotel and resort related content.
This week you will hear from guest bloggers including Adam Wallace of Zona Colonial, John Knowles of Roger Smith Hotel, Casey Tilli of Destination Hotels and Resorts, Isaac Gerstenzang of Destination Hotels and Resorts, Diana Plazas of DoubleTree Hotels and Pat McTigue of Hotel Indigo San Diego. Our guest bloggers will be sharing insights into industry trends, challenges, case studies and more, December 6th-9th.
Meet our guest bloggers,
Casey Tilli recently joined Destination Hotels & Resorts where she manages Destination’s social media and public relations programs. Previously, Casey handled event marketing and social media as marketing manager at National CineMedia. Casey began her career with M. Silver Associates, a public relations travel and tourism agency in New York.
With over 14 years in the hospitality industry, Isaac Gerstenzang is responsible for overseeing Destination Hotels & Resorts‘ Internet marketing effort. Prior to Destination, Isaac was director of e-marketing and customer relations management at The New York Palace Hotel and has also worked in food and beverage marketing.
Pat McTigue is the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hotel Indigo San Diego where he is directly responsible for the sales team and deployment of sales & marketing efforts. During his time with the property he has successfully established key relationships with the San Diego Convention Center, CVB and within the community. Prior to the Hotel Indigo opening in July of 2009, the social space was identified as a key initiative to grow awareness for IHG’s newest brand.
Diana Plazas is the Director of Online Marketing for DoubleTree by Hilton. Diana has been in this role since 2009, where she leads the brand’s online strategy, working closely with the internal teams and agencies on search, display, website management and social media.
You may look forward to their guest posts beginning today and continued throughout the week.
