July Professional Member-Only Webinar: "The Engagement Curve" with Chris Heuer

Introducing our July Professional members-only webinar featuring Social Media Club Founder, Chris Heuer. Our Professional members-only monthly webinars were launched in June 2012 and host Professional members of the Social Media Club community.  Our goal for these members-only webinars is to provide excellent content and extend visibility to Professionals in our community that have advanced knowledge to share.

Chris will be sharing his insights for realizing the greatest return on investment possible from social media, by becoming a social business and embracing engagement that goes beyond marketing.

Every social media professional knows the profound impact social media has had on society and how it has reshaped the fundamentals of the market, including the way value itself is not only created, but co-created. Having long said that social media’s power lies in making things visible, in this webinar, we will discuss social media as an expression of brand value and how to quantify it in order to rationalize appropriate investment in systems of engagement.

Chris’ concept of the Engagement Curve as introduced in this post follows in the lineage of the Experience Curve, which set the course for more than a generation of strategic business planning. In the same way that the experience curve touts the competitive advantage in the economies of scale in increasing the number of units produced to drive down costs, the engagement curve creates a similar economic effect by focusing on increasing the number of TRUE relationships to co-create the greatest shared value.

During the webinar Chris will not only explain this strategy in greater detail, but will demonstrate how you can leverage it to gain executive support for shifting from marketing to market engagement, from selling into markets to building them. More importantly, moving beyond strategy, Chris will introduce you to the Engagement Matrix, a management and diagnostic tool that will help you manage engagement at scale by deploying diplomats at the intersection of the social graph and the interest graph.

The Engagement Curve has been under development for more than a decade, but this is the first full presentation given to a public audience, and it’s being made available exclusively to Social Media Club members. It’s not only your chance to get a front row seat to learn about a new way to communicate the value of social media, but it’s also your chance to contribute to its development, as Chris will explain during this webinar. Featuring an extensive interactive Q&A that will help you apply the principles to your specific business, he will also be seeking your input in the development of the book by helping to identify other illustrative case studies and supporting insights.

If you aren’t already a member, or if your membership recently expired, now is the time to join or renew. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to be one of the first to learn about The Engagement Curve and apply its insights towards gaining a competitive advantage in your market.
