As an early participant in the first iteration of Social Media Club Atlanta, I’ve been happy to be part of the group’s rejuvenation that began in November of 2010, as our new leadership team came on board.
In growing the Atlanta chapter of SMC, we’ve seized on the opportunity to bring together the thriving Atlanta social media community for programming they can’t find elsewhere. Our events have been sold out since our first standing room only program in January of 2011, and the well-known brand name of Social Media Club has been key to that success.
It’s been enormously fulfilling to be part of something so many people find valuable, and I’ve gotten to meet and build friendships with some of the most amazing professionals both in town, and around the world. The SMC name is synonymous with quality education and helpful connections, and I’m proud to be a member.
