Our Revolution: Social Good in Detroit
We helped introduce Our Revolution Week (May 3-10) in celebration of the release of author Ja-Naé Duane's newest book How to Create a Revolution: A Step-by-Step-Guide to History's Social Influencers.
Social Media Club was selected as one of the five nonprofits which will be receiving proceeds from book sales between May 3rd-May 10th. That means if you visit this link to order the book, you can select which nonprofit you want to receive your book sales proceeds. As you know, Social Media Club is a nonprofit organization and a few months ago we kicked off our first ever fundraising campaign in an effort to generate donations to help expand our full-time staff to see that our global missions are carried out. Social Media Club has sustained enormous growth of the last few years and we need to make improvements to the site and build out our editorial efforts to support the growth.
Ja-Naé joined us for a series of interviews in anticipation of the book release. Check out the interview below as we discuss the book, social influence, social proof and learned a few stories from her travels to find social good in Detroit.
We are extremely grateful to Ja-Naé Duane for selecting Social Media Club as a beneficiary and we hope you'll help support SMC by picking up a copy of her newest title How to Create a Revolution: A Step-by-Step-Guide to History's Social Influencers.
You can learn more about Ja-Naé by visiting Our Revolution site, Facebook page or following her on Twitter, @TheSunQueen.
