We are introducing our October Book of the Month, Maximizing LinkedIn for Sales and Social Media Marketing by Neal Schaffer. Past titles we've featured have been more content development, social media best practices so we're especially excited to have a title that offers a deeper dive on a specific platform.
Neal is an author, speaker and social media strategy consultant, who has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Business Week, Yahoo!, and the American Express Open Forum. A graduate of Amherst College, he is also fluent in Chinese and Japanese and currently resides in Irvine, California, where he proudly serves on the marketing committee for the United Way of Orange County. Some of our SMC Professional members and chapter leaders reviewed the title on behalf of Social Media Book Club. Check out what other social media professionals like Mark Krupinski of SMC Orlando, Craig Yaris of SMC Long Island, Caitlin Muir of SMC San Antonio and Dave Wade of SMC Weber/Davis, had to say about Maximizing LinkedIn for Sales and Social Media Marketing. SMC Amsterdam Founder & Leader, Erno Hannink also did this great video review.
In an effort to continue discussion and connect our Social Media Club community with our featured Book Club author, we are hosting a complimentary webinar on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 2pm EDT with Neal Schaffer.
As a Social Media Club Professional Membership benefit, we are inviting Professional members to be part of our Social Media Book Club. If you are a Professional Member and interested in receiving, reviewing and sharing your feedback on upcoming titles with the rest of the SMC community, please email Jessica [Jessica at socialmediaclub dot org] for details.
The Social Media Book Club will feature social media's most innovative thought leaders, who have written books that can help our global community learn, improve and share. We have selected several titles we will be introducing to you at the beginning of each month and have asked several of our Professional members and chapter leaders to help us review the monthly titles.
