NPR Talk of the Nation Discusses Reforming Professors & Classrooms for Digital Age

As I was listening to NPR this morning, they introduced their Talk of the Nation schedule for today which includes, Don Tapscott who has been studying the "net  generation" for more than 15 years. The discussion will touch on encouraging professors to start teaching differently, as our higher ed students are often on the cutting edge of technology outside of the classroom, but this is not being integrated in the classroom. Tapscott will discuss by reforming universities for the digital world, will help students, professors and the entire educational system.

Visit http://www.npr.org/programs/talk-of-the-nation/ to find the Talk of the Nation schedule on your local radio station or to listen live online. I will be publishing some key takeaways using #smcedu hashtag during Tapscott's discussion and hope you'll join in!
