So, why wouldn't Facebook let you change the name of your fan page? Well, imagine joining a page for "Save Adorable Kittens"  only to have the Facebook page admin change the name to "Joe's Deathmetal Extravaganza!" -- that probably wouldn't go over so well. Still, it seems like there should be some sort of process for changing or rearranging a page name, right?

Well -- now there sorta is. If the page in question has under 100 fans. If so, making the change is simple enough: navigate to your "edit page" screen. Click on "basic information" and you will see that there is now an editable field next to name.

And if you have too many fans? Well -- you'll see no editable text field. I guess the reasoning here is somewhat fair -- if you are just getting started with your page or business, you may end up needed to alter the name. However, once you have hundreds or thousands of fans -- it would be unfair to change the name to something vastly different.
