Facebook condenses insights in the Admin Panel
Facebook has stripped the summarized insights graph on admin panel of Pages to include two metrics: reach and people talking about this.
Before this change, they had been showing a condensed version of the full reach graph that can still be seen in the insights view.
Remember that reach on Facebook is made up of the following components:
Organic – people who came to the page, saw your post in their news feed or ticker
Viral – people who saw your brand through the actions of another one of their Facebook friends (i.e. liking/commenting/sharing a post)
and finally
Paid – anytime people saw your brand through a promoted post, sponsored story, or any other Facebook display ad.
Hopefully this will improve the load speed of Facebook pages for admins, which is something many of my fellow social strategists have complained of.
