Are you forgetting a great group of ambassadors: your alumni?

We spend a ton of effort trying to woo bloggers and evangelists, and we forget about those alumni and retirees who connected their lives to the company for years.

Many will be thrilled to stay involved and connected.

The New York Times writes about HP’s program to encourage alumni to:

…do volunteer sales, join local alumni clubs, get involved in legislative issues the company cares about and represent Hewlett-Packard in philanthropic and community events. The company’s goal is to inspire involvement from as many as 40,000 retirees (read more).
