2012 was a wild adventure for the Verge Pipe Media blog. From Millennials and app reviews to enterprise and higher ed, it feels like we have unturned every stone of the social + mobile world – including Mad Men and The Walking Dead.

But, looking back, it’s interesting (and somewhat bewildering in some cases) to see which posts were the top performers for 2012. Our friends and followers have spoken.
