I was surfing the Net the other night and learned that my favorite author had died. Madeleine L'Engle is now resting with Jesus. I hope she now knows how influential she has been to my writing and to my life. She is one of the reasons I became a believer in Christ. She was such an intellectual and wrote so beautifully about life and faith. Her fiction was so well-done and as compelling as her nonfiction and poetry. When I read her books (fiction, poetry and nonfiction), I knew if she was that smart and a believer, then Christianity was true and real and vital to my life. Ms L'Engle, thank you for your inspiration. I look forward to meeting you in heaven.
