Holding proofs of a magazine right before it goes to press is a magical time! When people see a magazine they have no idea the effort it takes to go into story research, interviews, writing, editing, photography or design. Much like when we see a college student and we forget how many hours of diapering, feeding, rocking, reading, and bandaging boo boos went into the student even before they entered kindergarten!
