New Openings at MSLGROUP Asia: Social Media Specialists in India, China and Japan
In October, when I announced my new role as the Director of Digital and Social Media at MSLGROUP Asia, I mentioned that one of my first tasks will be to recruit senior social media specialists in India, China, Japan and Singapore, to strengthen our existing pool of social media savvy staff.
Since then, half a dozen social media specialists have joined us in Singapore, India, China and Japan.
At present, we are actively looking for experienced and enthusiastic candidates for several open roles. All roles require a deep insight of the local market dynamics, apart from an understanding of global social media trends. For all roles, compensation package will not be a limitation for the right candidate.
1. Account Director Level (1 open positions in Shanghai + 1 open position in Beijing/ Shanghai + 1 open position in Tokyo)
1A. Candidate Profile
- 6-10 years of communications experience, including at least 1-2 years in the digital practice of ad agency or PR agency, or in a digital agency or social media agency.
- Experience in creating and executing social media, community management, influencer relations, and integrated marketing programs for clients.
- Experience in managing teams and coordinating with external agencies.
- Presence to engage and present strategy to clients at a senior level.
- Active presence on social media, including personal blog, Facebook page and Twitter profile.
- Preferably, specialization in a priority focus practice area, like consumer, technology, or crisis communications.
1B. Job Profile
- Work with staff and partners to plan and implement strategic social media programs for key MSLGROUP clients.
- Lead MSLGROUP’s thought leadership initiatives by speaking at conferences, publishing white papers and conducting workshops.
- Enhance MSLGROUP’s social media capabilites by creating toolkits, training programs, research reports and vendor partnerships.
- Work with MSLGROUP’s regional team on key regional capability building and thought leadership initiatives.
- Coordinate with other Publicis Groupe agencies on integrated marketing programs.
2. Acount Manager Level (2 open positions in Mumbai + 1 open position in Delhi + 1 open position in Shanghai + 1 open position in Shanghai/ Beijing)
2A. Candidate Profile
- 4-6 years of communications experience, including at least 1-2 years in the digital practice of ad agency or PR agency, or in a digital agency or social media agency.
- Experience in creating and executing social media, community management, influencer relations, and integrated marketing programs for clients.
- Presence to engage and present strategy to clients at a senior level.
- Active presence on social media, including personal blog, Facebook page and Twitter profile.
- Preferably, specialization in a priority focus practice area, like consumer, technology, or crisis communications.
- Preferably, experience in web design, web development, web analytics, email marketing, SEO/ SEM or multi-media content creation.
2B. Job Profile
- Work with staff and partners to plan and implement strategic social media programs for key MSLGROUP clients.
