What's a Zombie to do? Halloween Wakes the Dead
It’s time to wake up, all you undead - you've been sleeping long enough! The Halloween alarm should be well past snooze!
...But once revived, what’s a newly undead to do (after catching up on email, of course)? Why, check out some Halloween fun, spooks and spoofs – since you’re already online! Here are some things on our list:
Do Some Shopping
Be sure and hit the Sears website. You heard me, SEARS. Those clothes you're wearing are falling apart, and if you don’t speak English you can translate the site into “zombie-speak.” While you’re there, you can get recommendations for the latest in Zombie fashions and create a Zombie friend. Since you've probably been out of the loop a while, get up to speed on Twitter, where you can chat with the official @zombieshopper.
Earn a Foursquare Badge
Things have changed since you relocated to the afterlife. Going to hit the town and visit some of your dearly dessicated friends? Don’t forget to check in on Foursquare. They’re offering TWO Halloween-themed badges. (and one’s particularly easy to acquire!).
Catch up on Your Reading
Got some extra time while you wait for the party to really kick in? Check out a copy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. (For those of you who are newly undead, you may opt to download to your e-reader). Just beware of Lady Catherine's ninjas - they're not fond of Zombies!
Take in Some Sights
Blair Witch Fans may wish to visit the real Burkittsville, MD. It may or may not be as scary as the movie myth!
Surf a Little
Still stuck for something to do? Yahoo’s set up a dedicated site for your Halloween pleasure.
Spend a Quiet Night In
And if long-undead jet-lag has you staying in for the night, don’t forget to whip up a batch of something icky (but yummy!) over on Food Network.
Happy and safe Halloween to all!
