Cyclone Yasi creates a Storm of Blogs

Examining what happened with the blogging world during the Cyclone Yasi we have extracted the metrics below:

At a later stage we will examine Twitter, Facebook, On-line Media and the Web. For this study we chose to focus on the Blogger community. As per the analysis above there were 8,676 Blog mentions in a matter of a few days.

The graph below shows the volume of blogs against the timeline – as you can clearly see daily volume peeked at 3,800!
