What is Social Media Club?
Social Media Club connects media makers from around the world to promote media literacy, industry standards, and ethical behavior and to share the lessons they have learned. You can think of SMC assort of a not-for-profit Good Housekeeping Seal for the digital world. In a time of new media ninjas and digital gurus who rarely live up to their name, it’s important to have educated industry members setting the bar and holding us all accountable to the kind of work we all deserve. SMC provides our community with a platform to share and promote best practices in online media.

Social Media Club events hope to ignite conversations about how you’re using technology to engage your audiences and promote your vision – whether it be charitable, profitable, or just for fun – and how to leverage those tools for success. We believe that by sharing what’s worked for us with our community, we can all succeed. Regardless of your level of expertise with social media, we believe collaboration in the industry will spark the creative bug and help you move your projects forward.

Members will be able to join SMC’s email lists and social network where you can connect with others in Social Media Club who have similar interests or needs. You’ll gain access to special information, howto's, and the shared knowledge of the information created at all the chapter meetings and events we organize.
