- Intro
- Unyts rebrand- new name & logo - any suggestions of how to roll that out through social media?
- Travers Collins recently rebranded, check out their website/facebook
- Make it clear to your audience WHY there was a rebrand
- Food Bank - Still find their old logo on some things
- Get your new logo to news outlets
- Send out the new logo whenever you catch the old one somewhere
- Put logo standards on your website
- New Era - another example of rebranding
- Check out UPS and IBM for companies who switched from longer names to shorter names

- We don’t see posts in our news feeds in real time
- It is based on how you interact with a page
- Are like numbers valid?
- Sometimes the same people are interacting with your page over and over. The more they interact, the more they see you in their feed - you’re not reaching new people

- Had to get people to vote daily for Y&W to win marketing service
- Saw a 15% increase in Facebook fans
- Dan programmed an app to enter the contest, chance to win Sabres to ticket for those who voted for them - got extra points for sharing to their wall - spread the message further
- Ended up with 50% of the vote - this may be because they engaged with their fans and the are a national company
- Encouraged fans on Twitter, Facebook and email to vote
- Went from 3 likes on a post to 50+ likes on a post
- Now we have the fans attention, how do we keep them engaged
- TIP: find other avenues to reach fans. Social media is only one piece of the whole - get them to engage through other mediums

- to autofill the information in the form, they had a database of user information, had a disclaimer about not sharing user information
- they also has a reminder to vote on FB sent out through Mailchimp - had to opt-in for this

- Can bring your videos to events, build up on Twitter first, use the hashtag for the event to promote ahead of time, open up to more people seeing it

- How companies use it
- Mashable has been posting a lot on Pinterest lately
- Zoo - it would be great to post pictures of the animals, people LOVE animal pictures on Pinterest
- There is action behind it
- Even people who are not on Facebook and Twitter use Pinterest - heard conversations about it at Christmas parties
- You can upload your own content to increase traffic to your website
- You can present products in a powerfl way
