SOCIAL MEDIA CLUB BUFFALO TO HOST GENERAL INTEREST MEETING JANUARY 26
Group recruiting new members to join local chapter of professional organization
Buffalo, NY – Social Media Club Buffalo will host a general interest meeting on Thursday, January 26 from 5:30 to 7pm at Old Editions Book Shop at 74 East Huron Street, Buffalo.
Social Media Club Buffalo exists as a resource for social media professionals and enthusiasts. The group is recruiting new members to join the club and take an active role in events, marketing, membership and accounting committees. Membership benefits will also be discussed and Picasso’s Pizza will provide free snacks for attendees.
The events committee organizes educational and social programs for the club. These include workshops and panel discussions on various social media topics, along with signature events like the annual Social Media Day in June. The marketing committee handles positive imagery and creative messaging for the club, as well as delivery of accurate information and professional management of public affairs. The membership committee develops benefits for paid members of the club, maintaining communication among current members and recruiting new ones. The accounting committee oversees the financial aspects of the club and works with other committees to develop budgets.
“Any individual interested in boosting their knowledge of social media, no matter what industry, should look to becoming involved in Social Media Club,” said Nicole Schuman, Social Media Club Buffalo president. “This is a marketing medium that is not going away and our organization helps users of all levels to understand and use social media for their benefit.”
