SOCIAL MEDIA CLUB BUFFALO TO HOST PANEL ON TWITTER OCT 28
Local businesses comment and instruct on their best practices for engaging followers on Twitter
Buffalo, NY – Social Media Club Buffalo will host Best Practices For Businesses on Twitter on Friday, Oct. 28 at 8 a.m. at The Buffalo Museum of Science, 1020 Humbolt Parkway, Buffalo. The panel will feature experts from local businesses who are using Twitter to boost the company’s business and engagement with consumers.
The panel is being held in conjunction with Advertising Club of Buffalo’s first annual Adweek Buffalo.
The panel will feature Mike Schuler, Promotions Manager at Darien Lake Theme Park @darienlake, Elena Kunsevich, Social Media and Web Coordinator at Perry's Ice Cream @perrysicecream, S.J. Velasquez, Multimedia Content Coordinator at Buffalo Dot Com @buffalodotcom, Kevin Evanteski, Social Media Manager for Statler City @statlercity.
The panel will discuss how and why to use Twitter for your business, and how this social media tool can benefit your business differently than using Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social media platforms. Participants will also feature tips and examples for engaging consumers and followers as well as answer attendee questions.
Tickets for the event are $10 for non-SMCBuffalo members and $5 for dues-paying SMCBuffalo members. Free coffee and muffins will be provided with ticket purchase from Coffee Culture.
