Join SMCFW for our holiday party on December 13 at The Usual from 6pm to 10pm! If you went to last year’s holiday party, you know how much fun they are…you won’t want to miss it!
The party is free, but we’d appreciate it if you’d let us know if you’re planning to attend.
Hope to see you there, and we’re looking forward to an exciting 2013 with all of our social media friends, followers, and fans!
When Jeff Schick, the Director of Integrated Digital Strategy of Online Performance Marketing, showed up at Four Day Weekend two weeks ago, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Luckily, what I got was a discussion that focused on one of the most effective marriages of local, Mom & Pop-style business strategy and social media that I’ve seen in a long time.
On Wednesday, November 14, Senior Communications Specialist Joe Flowers will speak to Social Media Club Fort Worth about how the social media team at Frito Lay uses social media for customer service. Join us from 6-8pm CT at Four Day Weekend Theater to hear from one of North Texas’ most prominent social media professionals.
What you’ll learn:
Social Customer Service: It’s The Little Things
We’ve all seen the flashy examples of social media customer service wins and horrific fails. If you ask the ‘experts,’ grand displays of customer service should be the norm. In reality, social customer service is about the small victories. In this presentation, Joe Flowers will discuss how brands of all sizes can use Twitter to win business and keep fans happy.
If you’re in any way familiar with social media (or affiliated with our club, for that matter), odds are that you’ve heard of Twitter. It’s one of the most important platforms on the internet for making your own voice, or your brand’s voice, “heard” by the masses in the form of 140-character messages. Everyone from politicians and actors to your 12-year old cousin is on Twitter.
In other words, Twitter is kind of a big deal.
