Recap of Special Agent David Bentz: Social Media & the Secret Service
There’s a stereotype that follows Secret Service agents. A black-suit-black-tie, all-business, slightly intimidating stereotype. So when Secret Service Special Agent David Bentz began his presentation, imagine everyone’s surprise when we discovered two very important things:
1) The Secret Service has a sense of humor, and 2) that they are very much on top of things in the world of internet security.
After starting out with a warning that he would shoot any mobile devices being used by his audience during his presentation (causing a few of us to discreetly lower our iPhones, at least for a few minutes), Agent David Bentz gave us a brief history of the Secret Service.
