Our Harrisburg Social Media Club has been active for two years now, and we have a diverse membership of entrepreneurs, media, academics, B2C, B2B, and the public sector.
Why would business people, joined by the principle of If you get it, share it, want to spend time after work tweeting, Instagramming, and Facebooking with strangers? Is there any business value to this stuff? Isn’t Twitter inane chatter?

That’s right, Christmas is right around the corner and the Harrisburg Social Media Club is going to usher it in with style. Or, maybe style’s not the correct word....
Our upcoming Club meeting begins at noon on Dec. 21 at the Dog & Pony Restaurant in Swatara. If you’re coming, you’re requested to come decked in your holiday cheer, your ugliest holiday cheer that is! At some point in our lives we’ve been the recipient of either an ugly Christmas sweater, vest or tie, so sport yours at the December meeting.
Roundtop Mountain Resort's Social Media Story
NOTE: For our chapter's November club meeting, we traveled to Roundtop Mountain Resort to meet Lutricia Eberly and her social media team. While we munched on fabulous brick oven pizzas, buffalo chicken dip, and other assorted goodies in the Fireside Pub and Grill, Lutricia explained how she landed in her current position, and how she engages with her audience on the slopes.
