In Review: Hawaii’s Social Media Mingle
WOW. What a night! Smart conversation, lots of laughs and great energy filled the room at KA Restaurant on December 15, 2010. Despite busy work and social schedules, over 100 social media professionals and newbies gathered IRL (in real life) to celebrate the collective achievements of Hawaii’s social media community #HSMYIR (Hawaii Social Media Year in Review).
We Want to Feature YOU at Hawaii Social Media Year in Review
Our year end event is all about you. It is a party to celebrate the accomplishments of the people and the organizations in Hawaii. We are not having a contest – we are acknowledging all of our peers for their myriad of accomplishments! (If you want a contest, submit your brilliant social media campaigns to Pacific Edge!)
Step One: Add your social media accomplishments using our simple form. We will then add it to the slide show loop we are creating for the Dec 15 year in review party. We will also be aggregating this information to present to the local media and to help define Hawaii in the Social Media Community worldwide. Short Link: http://bit.ly/aBMlyb

As the Hawaii chapter of the international Social Media Club organization, we have completed two years of free outreach to the community of businesses, nonprofits, government, and educators. We have seen enormous change and a tremendous adoption of social media practices here in the ʻaina and we want to celebrate you.
