On Tuesday, Jan. 29, SMCLA had its first mixer of the year at Bigfoot West. A diverse group of PR, ad sales, development, writing, and community management professionals packed the house – all eager to share the latest in social media with colleagues and new acquaintances.

There were handshakes and introductions aplenty to new and familiar faces, including the SMCLA 2013 board and committee members.

Adding to the boisterous ambiance was the locale’s unique layout, reminiscent of a cozy hunting lodge replete with terrarium decor, antique photos, and mounted trophies along the walls and ceiling. Attendees had a blast mingling and chatting the evening away, fueled by refreshing beverages and pizza galore.
