There’s a cool event going on this coming Saturday we thought you ought to know about. WordCamp Louisville will take place on Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Delphi Center at the University of Louisville’s Shelby Campus. WordCamp is a one-day bootcamp event for WordPress users, or wanna be WordPress users, that is chock full of great speakers, learnings and networking.

While the event is not associated with Social Media Club, several of our board members have been to WordCamps and can vouch for their usefulness. There will be talks at WordCamp Louisville from WP designers Tammy Hart and David Yeiser (both awesome), author/writer/blogger Erik Deckers, social media whiz Brian Wallace, SEO guru Eric Blackwell and more. The event has three tracks and the day is a 10-hour knowledge fest. You’ll be a smarter WordPress user by attending.

Not only do you get all that learning and networking with other WordPress users, but the proceeds go to benefit the University of Louisville’s Kentucky Autism Training Center and the WordPress Foundation.
