We’re on the hunt for Melbourne’s most passionate digital/social marketing champions to help make our events even better and more regular! We’re looking for lovers of the space, who want to see the industry move forward while building their own connections, profile and experience along the way. We’re a low cost operation and everyone involved volunteers their time, and like everyone we’re often stretched, so hopefully you’re the kind of person who can help.
There are two key roles we’re looking to fill, both need high energy in bursts around the launch of and at each event, roughly 8-12 hrs month.

As 2012 comes to an end (and the world if you believe the Mayan calendar), it’s time to reflect on some of the stand-out digital campaigns, innovations and lessons of the Australian social media landscape over the past year.
Social Media Club Melbourne have assembled a diverse panel of Melbourne social media opinion leaders to nominate their standout activation or campaign from 2012, as well as share their views and predictions for what 2012 holds in social media.
We’re giving you a chance to WIN a free pass to Swarm Melbourne Conference, Australia’s largest Community Management conference with International speakers and Australia’s best sharing their insights.
For your chance to win, reply to this email with an answer to this question:
What’s your social media disaster?
In under 200 words, simply share with us a disaster or crises that has occurred in your brand’s (or client’s) online community, and you could WIN a free pass to Swarm Melb to the value of $600. You don’t have to mention the brand or Community in question, but your response should include information about how it was dealt with, and what you hope to get out of the Swarm Conference if you were to WIN.
