Effective strategies in the not-for-profit sector
Australia has over 600,000 non-for-profit organisations, all of which have important messages to share with the community. But with budget and resource limitations, traditional marketing channels can prove out of reach.
Social media is an affordable alternative that can deliver ongoing engagement and lasting behavioural change in the community.
Join us as we explore best practice principles in the social media for not-for-profit sector. Our panel will discuss campaigns that have worked and how social media can be used effectively to drive social change, raise funds and support the organisations that are truly making a difference.
The Australian Institue of Management (AIM) presents…
Community Y: Inspiring future leaders — Ruslan Kogan
AIM are pleased to bring you their next Community Y event featuring a man that has embraced technology and the ideology that it should be affordable for everyone, the amazing Ruslan Kogan.
Ruslan will share his story, how he started his own business (Kogan.com) in his parent’s garage with zero external funding or capital and turned it into one of the fastest growing companies in Australia, and the lessons he has learnt in doing so.
Come along and join an inspiring community, connect with like minded aspiring leaders and share experiences, all while listening to one of Australia’s great young entrepreneurs.
We’re on the hunt for Melbourne’s most passionate digital/social marketing champions to help make our events even better and more regular! We’re looking for lovers of the space, who want to see the industry move forward while building their own connections, profile and experience along the way. We’re a low cost operation and everyone involved volunteers their time, and like everyone we’re often stretched, so hopefully you’re the kind of person who can help.
There are two key roles we’re looking to fill, both need high energy in bursts around the launch of and at each event, roughly 8-12 hrs month.
