Social Networking, Waffles and Airplanes
Thanks to all who made the first Brunch-n-Learn for the Social Media Club's Michiana Chapter a huge success. The waffles - which were donated by Carbon's Golden Malted - were a hit, and the speakers Steve Smith (@orderedlist) and Tim O'Connor (@gameday and @oakND1) were equal to the task.
Steve shared some great insights with the group about the "Do's" and "Do Not's" of social media. Mr. Smith's biggest tip was to be genuine. He said, "Once something is out in cyberspace you can monitor it; but, you cannot control it."
