Social Media Club New Orleans presents Fleurty Girl's WhoDat Smackdown

Time to dust this blog off and get this club back in action. Last week, a thread start
ed on Yelp about getting a Social Media chapter started in New Orleans. Shortly after, me and Adele Tiblier were bombarded with e-mails, inquiries and a few not-so-subtle "Where have you two BEEN?" So, with the help of new enthusiastic blood, we're going to be kicking off monthly meetings every second Tuesday of the month at Three Muses. AND, we have a new team member on board who is going to kick off some weekend activities and meetings...in addition to kicking our butt to keep motivated. Thanks, Jennifer:)
So, join us next Tuesday, November 9th to hear from Fleurty Girl, Lauren Thom, who is using social media to rally the WhoDat nation in response to having her business Facebook Page taken down without warning. Fleurty Girl is a stellar example of how small businesses are using social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare to build loyal brand enthusiasts.
