Social Media Club Niagara brings people together from the community who ‘get social media’ to share with everyone who has a passion to learn, share and network.  It’s fun, casual and informative.  Like other Social Media Clubs around the world, we‘re excited about Social Media and we care enough about this growing medium to encourage a high standard of practice among industry professionals, as well as end users.

Our mission is to:

1. Expand media literacy

2. Share lessons learned among social media practitioners

3. Encourage adoption of industry standards

4. Promote ethical practices

SMC Niagara meets monthly around the Niagara Region  some of the trendiest and hip locations in the area to socialize (we have to have a bit of fun too) and share the up-to-date information concerning social media strategies, case studies, best practices and resources.

We encourage speakers, discussions and networking activities that will help us achieve our mission.  We encourage you to come join us whether you work with social media, use it in your personal life or don’t know the difference between a ‘tweet’ and a ‘blog’ – best of all its free!

SMC Niagara was started by Janice Arnoldi and Robin McPherson of Arnoldi McPherson Social Media Strategy and they’ve teamed up with  Adam White of JMR Software and Mitch Fanning of InfectiousBrand to get the club off the ground.
