Hey everyone, it’s Jay. Thought I’d give you a quick update on the goings on at the tweetup on Tuesday. For a largely un-promoted event we had a tight group of 6 and the discussion circled around apps. What we use, what we like, where the trends are pointing.

Collin brought a wealth of knowledge on Posterous and we demo’d both sites and apps that relate, Like PicPosterous.

Sara brought up a good question. Is there an app that tracks app usage, locally on your phone. That might come in handy in figuring out what your kids are doing on your phone as well as tracking your time-sucks during the day.

John talked on Waze, a social gps/mapping app and we talked through ways that app might come into play in the business world. stay tuned there.

I’m sure I’m leaving quite a bit so forgive me to those I’ve left out. All told, the meeting was enjoyable and educational… odd combo but lots of fun. we’re working on a date about 5-6 weeks out for the next meetup so keep your ears to the ground and we’ll let you know.
