We completed our second meetup on 20th August !Theme of this meetup was "If you get it, share it " and we invited Zomato Team to present their case study.They were really supportive and took time out on a Saturday to share their learnings on Social Media.Here goes the case study for your reference.

July is the month when we officialy kickstarted our club..Our first meetup happened on 8th July..And generally after the start the next question is “What Next”..Yes next meetup is definitely on the cards ! But ,we thought when SMCPune is all about Pune then why not bring out local stories and talk about the companies who has already tested the waters and how Social media is changing their lives..Team had zeroed down few names ..and then we thought lets go ahead with TastyKhana ..So our team contacted TastyKhana Team and Vinamra Pandiya was more than willing to meet us and share his learning's…We decided to meet in the afternoon…Their corporate office is located in Salunkhe Vihar..Nothing lavish plain simple office..I could see few people who were busy attending phone calls..After all it was the lunch time !
Pune Chapter's First Meetup

This post is coming a little later after the meetup happened on 8th July but nevertheless "Better late than never..Three cheers that we finally pulled our first meetup...C
lose to 37 enthusiasts signed up and we had a good audience of around 15 people..
It was a weekday,Friday evening,raining but still people who wanted to make it for the meet turned up.Bhaskar Thakur from Initiative 31 was a gracious host...We had good comfortable space and snacks for hungry souls..
This is just a beginning though..We have taken a small "baby" step...and the challenge which we feel every now and then is how to bring all the conversations together...Social Media is indeed painting the city red..Every day we see new people/businesses joining this bandwagon..They see the value thats why they are keen to join and spread the word...

I just loved this when i saw it ! The Economic Times,our beloved leading daily, did a full page ( mind you I mean FULL PAGE ) special feature on Social Networking ! I am planning to frame that article !!
