We wanted to share some exciting results from our 2011 census involving Social Media Club Rio Grande Valley, where innovators from Texas meet for monthly events to share, engage and collaborate with the community on the issues of social media and technology. Social Media Camp McAllen
Social Media Camp McAllen went well for the Rio Grande Valley chapter of Social Media Club. We were fortunate to generate some coverage from KGBT Channel 4.
Parking and Internet for Social Media Camp McAllen
Social Media Camp McAllen has turned out to be more popular than we anticipated. We have outgrown our Internet connection. We ask attendees to bring your wireless Internet devices so that we can reduce some of the load off the theater's Internet connection.
Social Media Camp McAllen
The Rio Grande Valley chapter of Social Media Club is gearing up for our first Social Media Camp McAllen. Early in the summer, we got together over lunch and somehow decided that we really had to organize an event. Our initial goal was to have maybe 50 people show up. That quickly went out the window. We have had three times as many people register as we anticipated. What is even more astonishing for us is that other local institutions have offered their facilities for future events.
