Sandy Carters "Get Bold" - Great read and invaluable insight
I really enjoyed Sandy Carter’s latest book Get Bold. The book was very easy to read and had valuable insight and actionable steps to set up a social media strategy for any size business. Sandy challenges the reader from the first few pages to be bold and fearless in their embracement of this $200B marketplace of social technology that can be intimidating to any business. Sandy reassures her readers that it is possible to set up a strategy by following her steps and also emphasizes that this social technology will be the competitive edge today and in the future.

Klout's Holiday Party and Tweet Drive
Klout held their Holiday Party, along with their 1st. Annual San Francisco Tweet Drive at their HQ in SOMA on December 8, 2011. The Social Media Club SF was there providing some giveaways and joining in the fun. Many shiny, new toys were collected to be donated to under-priveleged children in the Bay area. At the party there were many folks at the party dressed in festive-over the top Christmas sweaters, lots of picture taking and lots of tweeting.
San Francisco Tweet Drive!
The signs of winter are all around us – the chilly weather, snowflake designs on our coffee cups and sparkling white lights tracing the outlines of buildings everywhere. Naturally, this means that we’re closing in on the holiday season, and along with the holiday season comes the annual Tweet Drive!
