Thanks to everyone who came out to the Bell Harbor rooftop for a gorgeous evening on the downtown Seattle waterfront. The August event featured a question and answer session with Matt Inman, the creator of “The Oatmeal”.
More than 2,400 panel submissions. That’s right, this year there were 2.412 panel submissions to SxSW Interactive. To make sure our Seattle community has a strong showing in Texas this year, here’s a voter’s guide of panel ideas submitted by Seattleites or Seattle-based companies.

Nationally renowned speaker and author Jason Falls talk at SMC was our fast-selling event ever, with tickets snatched up in eight hours! Falls talk lived up to the hype with an audience held rapt with a talk on “Moving the Needle” (conversations and engagement are great, but alone don’t drive the bottom line).
Seattle Geek Week officially begins on Friday, August 13th through August 22nd. Ten days to geek out by attending Pii - Privacy, Identity, Innovation, BarCamp Seattle, Seattle TechKaraoke or Gnomedex 2010, to name a few.
