Sept. 18 event addresses Social Media in Hospitality and Tourism
The Social Media Club of Southwest Florida will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, September 18 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Lakes Regional Library, 15290 Bass Road in Fort Myers. Local leaders will discuss social media in hospitality and tourism.
In the face of economic uncertainty, more businesses are turning to social media to expand their market reach and marketing dollars. In a panel discussion moderated by Michelle Hudson, Digital Editor at The News-Press and Vice President of the local Social Media Club, panelists Stefanie Eakin, market account planner for SunStream Hotels and Resorts, Jay Johnson, owner of Bubba’s Roadhouse in Cape Coral and Pam Rambo, writer of the iLoveShelling.com blog will share best practices using social media.
