Learn about 2013 social media trends at SMCSTC
If you haven't registered yet for our first SMCSTC event of 2013, you should probably do so ASAP. There are only 11 spots left! The event will host a panel of local social media experts who will discuss upcoming social media trends for 2013. Here are the details:

Wrapping up 2012 and bringing in 2013
Well 2012 was certainly a good start and a busy year for Social Media Club of St. Charles! We had a total of four events, including our inaugural event at Quintessential in August, a networking event at Cottleville Wine Seller in September, where we also had our third event, a Pinterest panel in November, and last, but not least, a fundraising/networking event for the St. Louis Area Foodbank in December.
The Pinterest panel took place on Nov. 14, and it focused on how to drive traffic to your website via Pinterest, was a great social and educational event. It featured three panel members, including Jenn Cloud, Young & Free Spokesperson at Vantage Credit Union, Kasey Lucas, Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Performance Plus Global Logistics, and Kanna Taylor, community manager at American Cancer Society.
SMCSTC Off to a Great Start!
The Social Media Club of St. Charles is off to a great start so far! We had our first official event on Aug. 2 at Quintessential Dining & Nightlife. It was just an informal, social networking event, but we had a pretty good turnout, probably around 20-25 people. Definitely a success for our first event ever! We wanted it to be more of a meet-and-greet type of event, and I think we accomplished just that.

Welcome to Social Media Club St. Charles, where innovators from Missouri will meet for monthly events to share, engage and collaborate with the community on the issues of social media and technology.
