Please Share Ideas & Potential Speakers for our Fall Programs
Social Media Club Tacoma will host Fall and Winter programs to share information about social media for everyone from beginners to the more experienced. We’d like your ideas for topics, and then we hope to settle on some programs during our July 21 meetup (below)
We love Seattle and welcome speakers from there, but we’d love to find people in and around Pierce County and surrounding areas. So your ideas about speakers from there are more than welcome.

Welcome to Social Media Club Tacoma, where innovators from Washington will meet for monthly events to share, engage and collaborate with the community on the issues of social media and technology. Our chapter launched in 2010, and our leadership board includes Walter Neary. Meetup July 21 for Social Media Club Tacoma
Social Media Club Tacoma will meet 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday July 21 at Varsity Grill. We’re dedicating this summer to friendly conversation and networking. At our last gathering, you could overhear all sorts of great conversations about everything from Facebook to Google Maps, and how a lot of people are using those tools. Meanwhile, the club is planning an ambitous series of educational programs in the Fall. More later.
Food and drink are on your own, but Varsity Grill offers good deals. Be sure to RSVP NOW so we can look for you and have your spiffy collectible nametag ready.
Join Us For Our June Event
Join us between 5 and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, for a evening to connect, share and enjoy great conversation. You can network with a community that shares the same passions: communication and social media. Everyone from the rookie to veteran is welcome. No matter how involved you are in social media, or, maybe, curious of what it’s all about, this is the perfect community for you.
If you are new to social media, you’ll meet people eager to share advice. If you’ve been at it awhile, you already know that a new amazing idea is always just one conversation away.
Thanks to the Varsity Grill for partnering with us by offering their incredible event space upstairs. A large screen, stage, sound system and wifi will give us the ability to create some awesome events in the future. You’ll be able to order your favorite beverage or choose from the upstairs memo.
And last, but not least, there will be door prizes. If you have a prize you would like to offer, let us know by sending an email to SMCTacoma@gmail.com.
