With the evolution of the Internet, social media has become an important part in both the business and journalism world.  As a marketing/journalism student, social media has been integrated into many of my classes, but you have to learn a lot on your own.  David and I have decided to bring a Social Media Club to campus, in an attempt to learn more about social media from area professionals and each other.  

Our club is still in the works, but we are in the process of forming a leadership team and recruiting members.  We are targeting journalism and marketing students, as well as social media enthusiasts.  We hope to have our club set up by the end of September.  I know David and myself are both very excited to have the opportunity to bring this chapter to our campus.
