Please join us as we welcome spring, be social, mingle, share and learn what’s happening in Victoria in regards to social media. We meet from 7:00 – 9 :00 p.m., with the Social Media Help Desk available at 6:30 p.m.

For our March Mixer we welcome:

Mark Dusseault from the Belfry Theatre.
The Belfry is Victoria’s largest contemporary theatre, producing up to 12 plays per year. Mark will share what he has learned working with the Victoria community – knowing that community and social media go hand in hand.

Krista Loughton
Krista is the writer and director of @_UsandThem_, a film focusing on compassion being the answer to homelessness. Utilizing IndieGoGo, Krista was part of a team that launched a fundraising campaign that managed to raise $25,000, coming right down to the wire!

Social Media Help Desk
If you have any social media questions or need assistance, come early for the “Social Media Help Desk” which runs 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. for all levels of users. Bring your questions regarding Facebook pages, what a hashtag means and how to best gather search engine optimization.

Location: Our new location, Yates Street Taphouse at 759 Yates Street.

$5 at the door with all proceeds going to Mustard Seed Food Bank.
