We are proud to showcase their talents by providing valuable educational content, in the way of interviews, how-to's and case studies. Our contributors truly reflect Social Media Club's Global community with bloggers from Sweden, France, Israel, India, and the United States to name a few.
Meet our Managing Editor:
Ari Herzog is an adjunct professor of digital marketing to MBA students, previously consulting and managing online communities for nonprofits and a Fortune Global 500 firm. He explores digital media on his personal blog and writes for SteamFeed and the Huffington Post. Armed with a Master in Public Administration and senior management experience in state and local government, Ari works on the side as an elected city councilor in Newburyport, Massachusetts; and is networking for a full-time position in community affairs.

Audrey Schroder (@audreyschroder) works for electronic cigarette company Vapor4Life. In February 2013, she joined the SMC Chicago board. Audrey enjoys learning about best practices in business and the digital world, exploring Chicago and writing reviews on Yelp.
Chelsea Hickey (@ChelseaRhane) is a digital marketing strategist, specializing in social media and email marketing. With a background in Journalism, Fast Casual Foodservice, and Brand Advocacy; she is well versed in community management, content marketing, and brand advocacy. Chelsea enjoys consulting for businesses that are eager to grow word of mouth marketing and their digital presence. She is the Digital Marketing Manager at Zuberance, a leading brand advocacy company that powers ongoing advocate marketing programs for consumer and business brands. Chelsea is working on launching the SMC Virginia Beach chapter.
Christine Cube (@cpcube) is a media relations manager for PR Newswire. She's the voice behind the PRN Google+ page and manages PRN for Bloggers. You can also find her tweeting at @PRNewswire, @PRNAlert, @PRN4Bloggers, and her own account. Christine has a BS in print journalism from Radford University. She loves hula, running, Bikram yoga, and her corn snake, Beetlejuice.
Craig Yaris (@craigeyaris) via his company, Social Ribbit, is passionate about getting your business found in the digital space. He's presented to organizations and companies of all sizes including the National Association of Professional Women, Small Business Development Corp., and SCORE Long Island. A continuing education lecturer at Hofstra University, Craig helps small business owners begin their journey through social media, teaching hands-on courses in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+. In addition, Craig is a Constant Contact Authorized Local Expert and Accredited Solutions Provider. On the side, Craig is a contributing author and board member for Digital Ethos and a founding board member and current President of SMC Long Island.
Ethan Parry (@EthanParry3) is an undergraduate student in public relations. As a PR practitioner, Ethan loves establishing relationships with key industry leaders and anything that is social media related. He is particularly interested in the effects that social media have on youth. When Ethan is not on Twitter, Facebook or Google+, he loves to travel, take pictures, and spend time outside.
Jeannie Walters (@jeanniecw) is the Chief Customer Experience Investigator and Founder of 360Connext, a customer experience consulting firm. She has more than 15 years of experience helping companies improve retention, employee engagement, and overall customer experience. Jeannie is the Chicago lead for the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) and a member of Faith Popcorn's Talent Bank. Along with serving as CEO, she writes for several publications and blogs, as well as speaks for audiences globally, including as a 2012 TEDx speaker. As a member and speaker for the CEO organizations Vistage International, she was Member of the Year in 2007. Jeannie lives outside of Chicago with her husband and two young sons.
Jennifer Gilreath Hanford (@jennghanford) is the owner and managing director of j+ Media Solutions, helping small businesses and professionals grow through social and data solutions. She is also a founding member of Social Solutions Collective, a collaborative of entrepreneurial women with one main goal - to do social right. Jennifer’s niche within SSC is lead generation, lead nurturing, and lead conversion; and she contributes to two blogs each month on these subjects. She currently resides in Lewisville, Texas, with her family.
Joe Yeager (@JosephMYeager) is the social media administrator for Premier Dental, a leading manufacturer of professional dental products in a B2B environment, as well as the social media blogger for phillyburbs.com. He is also an adjunct faculty member at Philadelphia University. Most importantly, he is married to his wife, Denise, and they have a beautiful daughter, Maddie.
Larissa Fair (@lyf108) is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with extensive experience working with companies of all sizes from start-ups to mid-size to Fortune 500, in a wide range of industries such as IT, healthcare, entertainment, federal, nonprofit, and consumer packaged goods. She is particularly adept at designing and implementing integrated marketing and communications campaigns that leverage online, social, and traditional media channels for branding and messaging. Larissa is currently the Director of Marketing & Communications at Avectra, a social CRM company located in McLean, Virginia. She was President of SMC DC from 2007-2011, helping grow its membership by 75%.
Lauren Mikov (@lpmikov) is a social media manager with a background in PR, writing, and acting. She turned her love of social media into a full-time pursuit and founded The Social Stage, a social media consultancy. When she's not plugged in, you can find Lauren crossfitting, running and teaching skiing in the winter.
Laurent Blondeau (@Evidencesx) is a social media citizen and business development professional. He blogs about innovation, social business, management, strategy , and collaborative initiatives. Laurent holds an Executive MBA from HEC Business School and lives in France. His blogs include Evidencesx's World and Buzzed-In Log.
Melissa Pont (@melissapont) is a Social Marketing Manager at SaleAMP, an online marketing agency located in Austin, Texas, and a blogger for Social Ice Cream. She enjoys film photography, kayaking at Lady Bird Lake, and going on adventures with her puppy Olive.
Mireille Massue (@Mireille10) is re-entering the workforce after a lengthy sabbatical from a position as VP of International Training. She has a marketing degree with a background in organizational learning, and online learning. Mireille was an associate producer for television during her career and is interested in ‘hands on’ corporate education, combining the areas of broadcasting, technology and education to create healthy creative learning environments (think Pixar Studios) where people can participate in their own learning through conversation and collaboration.
Mordecai Holtz (@mordecaiholtz) is currently an independent social media consultant- where he helps companies and non-profits leverage the power of engagement via a host of social media platforms. His passion for bridging social good and social media has helped his clients boost their online brand recognition and awareness. When Mordecai is not engaging on Twitter or Facebook, you can find him either writing on his blog, running, or taking care of his 5 amazing children.
Pam Sahota (@pamsahota) is currently Manager of Brand Content at Digitas, Boston - where she helps well known global brands strategically devise how to best utilize content and social media on an Always On and campaign perspective. She has worked in Digital Media Management and Strategy at startups, agencies, nonprofits, and record labels. Pam is a confirmed social media junkie who is also fashion obsessed and an amateur photographer. When she’s not online, you can find her eating sushi, drinking wine, watching the Red Sox, and/or helping with charity events. You can find her on her website and follow her on Twitter and Facebook.
Rachael Genson (@rmgenson) is a public relations professional at INK. For the last several years, she worked in the technology industry helping clients create a connection between their brand and their consumers. Her focus is on mobile and consumer electronics, but Rachael has experience in many B2B and B2C sectors, and has worked with a variety of companies from the startup to the billion dollar global corporation. Rachael is passionate about writing, and can often be found sharing stories on her personal blog or through her Twitter account. When Rachael has a moment to unplug, you can find her digging into a good book or exploring all that her hometown of Austin, Texas offers.
Robin Smothers (@robinmarie) is a digital marketing and communications strategist for the Minneapolis Park Board. Prior to joining the Board in 2012, she worked as a consultant for more than 15 years, helping non-profits, government organizations, and school districts gain the public's attention, spark conversations, and drive community engagement to promote and improve their organizational missions. Robin holds a MPA in Community Engagement and a BA in Journalism. She's an avid walker and reader -- but has yet to master doing both at the same time.
Shikha Pakhide (@shikhashikz) is a marketing professional with rich experience handling lead generation activities across the globe with a strong bent towards international marketing. She sees herself more as a community developer and loves to experiment new ways on how to keep the community alive.
Syed M. Raza (@syedmraza) is a social media strategist for Evolven Software and is the person behind the @Evolven handle. An editorial team member since 2010, Syed also serves on SMC's global observation observation team.
William Corbett (@wjcorbett), President of New York-based Corbett Public Relations, Inc., is a leader in public relations, media relations, personal branding, and social media. Over the past 20 years, he assisted thousands of clients to secure media coverage, build brands, attract attention, and grow.
