Rachael Genson: As a child, I spent hours drafting creative stories just for fun and scribbling away in my journal as if it were my future autobiography. That passion for the written word followed me through my adolescence straight into my professional career, and it's no surprise that I ended up in public relations where I get to spend my days crafting client messaging into captivating stories. For the last two years, I've worked in the technology industry helping clients create a connection between the brand and their consumers and customers. Though my focus has been on mobile and consumer electronics, I've dabbled in various B2B and B2C sectors, and worked with dozens of companies from the small-start-up to the billion dollar global company. Growing up in the age of online communication, I'm also a huge sucker for social media, and have really enjoyed watching the effects it's had on relationship development both personally and professionally. As a new member of the Social Media Club's Editorial Team, I'm excited to explore the changing landscape that is social media. Connect with Rachael on Twitter: @rmgenson
