Music 'n' Social Media
Tue. September 25 2012
7:00pm - 11:00pm
There is hardly any industry that got disrupted by the Internet as the music business. But musicians adopted new distribution channels, social media, and even new ways of making music (together). The music industry is recovering from the blast, but is finding new ways to make a living. Even in a world of freemium and Pirate Bays.
How is the music business using social media? Answers will come from Brian Kabatznick, Vice-President at AEG who organized the tour for social media guru Justin Bieber, the two biggest music apps in the world - Spotify and Shazam - will talk about how they disrupt the industry and challenge it to find new ways of distribution. And music artists themselves; how do you perform in front of a packed audience if you are not Lady GaGa? Two members of the Dutch band Only Seven Left will talk about how they use Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and other tools to build a fan base.
And to top if of; a spectacular mix of a music show and keynote presentation from the creator of enthusiasm marketing and ex-manager of Kyteman about the power of music.
We would love to you to join this musical and media experience with us in one of The Netherlands biggest music domes. There's coffee and some free drinks - and music! - afterwards.
