Podcamp Philly will be taking place Saturday, October 2nd and Sunday, October 3rd, 2009 at Temple University.

Podcamp includes SearchCamp, now in its third year.

Learn not only how to produce great compelling content for the Web, but what you need to know about marketing it and optimizing it for Search Engines!

Please note: If you would like to present  as a Speaker at Podcamp Philly, please complete this Google Form as well.

Generally, everyone who signs up to speak will be given a speaking slot.  We will contact everyone who signs up as a speaker with additional information after we receive your form.

What is PodCamp Philly?

Podcamp Philly is a Digital Media/Social Media Unconference, now in its fourth year!

For people new to Unconferences, Podcamp, and New Media/Digital Media, we will have a page on our website leading you to the Introduction material- podcasts and videos- you might want to review before attending podcamp, introducing you to the basics of Social Media, Podcasts, Wikis, RSS and more.

Why is there a charge this year?

This year, as for the past two years, in the interest of sustaining our community commitment, we are instituting a nominal registration fee ($20) plus the Eventbrite fee, which covers both days of Podcamp and the social events.  Admissions fees are donated to a local charitable/educational organization- last year, we raised over $4,000.00 for Covenant House in support of homeless youth.  More information about this year's charitable donation will be forthcoming shortly.

The Power of Unconference:

The power of an UnConference is you get access to ideas, thoughts, best practices, and the true "wisdom of crowds" simply by registering and attending. An UnConference brings people with many different skill set together with the spirit of sharing and learning. We're audio and video podcasters, enthusiasts, businesspeople, hobbyists, musicians, promoters, marketers, and people who generally want to understand more about the new media space. We would like everyone to participate in some form or another and learn.
