From Friends to Revolutionaries, How New Media Is Accelerating Change

with Professor Anupam Chander of UC Davis School of Law

A leading expert and scholar in the laws of globalization and digitization, Professor Chander will discuss social media's roles in fueling citizen uprising and spurring social change in North Africa, the Middle East and unfree societies as well as the social responsibilities of new media corporations like Google and Facebook.

 

The evening is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiasts, journalists, publishers, small businesses, communications pros, teachers, students and anyone interested in social media to network while learning more about the connections between communication and change.
