The Association for Women in Communications, South Florida chapter (AWCSF), in partnership with Social Media Club Palm Beach County (SMCPBC), A Guy On Clematis, Social Media Roundup, New Tech Community, Tilson PR Tweetup, Kiwanis Young Professionals of the Palm Beaches and Off The Hookah - West Palm Beach, will host the 2nd annual Toys for Tweets charity function.

The innovative event, which the AWCSF plans to spread across the nation in future years, aims to collect toys and donations for underprivileged children for the holidays, using social media to advance the cause.

The first annual “Toys for Tweets” event, held last December, raised over $2500 for Palm Beach County’s children.

Children and teens will be allowed when accompanied by parents.

For the adults, Off the Hookah is providing one free drink, as well as free appetizers.

Toys for Tots will be represented by two US Marine Corps officials, who will be collecting the toys and all cash donations.
