Social Media Club December Mixer

Join us for another Social Media Club Mixer, Wednesday December 5th from 6:30 – 9pm at Veneto Tapa Bar and Lounge (Café side). All welcome. Details below!

As social media evolves, the way the Victoria Social Media Club operates has evolved as well. The SMC Victoria leadership is pleased to announce some exciting changes to our meeting format!

We are now meeting QUARTERLY. And our next meeting is Wednesday December 5th at Veneto Tapa Lounge (Café side)

When possible the group will meet the first Wednesday of every “seasonal change” month (meaning March, June, September and December).

Our meeting format is now a mixer & informational session. Every meeting will host a “Social Media Help Desk” from 6:30-7pm for all levels of social media users. Bring your questions about how to start up a Facebook business page, what does a hashtag mean and how can I best gather search engine optimization.

The meeting will continue from 7-9pm with a serious time of mingling, interaction and discussion, and up to three people giving 5-10 minute presentations on the latest tool, discovery or even what & how they’re doing social media. (If you have topics you’d like to present, email Melanie Friebel).

As mentioned, Wednesday, December 5th, 2012, 6:30-9pm (Help Desk 6:30-7) at one of Victoria’s premier lounges – Veneto Lounge (café side) in the Hotel Rialto (1450 Douglas at Pandora).

$5 cash donation at the door. Proceeds to the Mustard Seed Food Bank.

No host bar. Food service is available.
