I live something of a double life: I'm a film critic... but my background and education are in the business world. I spent over 10 years consulting to and working in the financial services industry, and have a BBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.

My first book, Zero-Sum Game: The Rise of the World's Largest Derivatives Exchange, was published by Wiley in November 2010.  It is my first-person account of the multibillion-dollar bidding war for the Chicago Board of Trade in 2007.

Since May 2008 I have been a film critic and movie blogger for Redbox at blog.redbox.com.

And from 2004 - 2010 I wrote an extremely popular blog about the TV series LOST, LongLiveLocke.com.
