@Geekazine

I think for myself. I Socialize with you.

I started as an IT professional back in 1995. My passion sort of changed in 2007 when I was doing more podcasting than IT work. So I took to the mic and called myself a Podcaster.

Today, I am host of four different shows on the internet:

  • Geek Smack! (www.thegeeksmack.com Twitter: @geekazine), a weekly rundown of  tech and geek news
  • iPad365 (www.ipad-365.com Twitter: @ipad365), an iPad app a day to keep your iPad a-playin.

  • Day in Tech History (www.dayintechhistory.com Twitter:@dayintechhist) a Daily rundown of technology history - podcast 7 days a week - 365 days a year.
  • Geekazine Special Events - When I go to CES, SXSW, or just review a product.

I am also the proprietor of Dorkazine.com (www.dorkazine.com), which is a blog about interesting things on the internet, Sportazine (www.sportazine.com), a sports-based website, and How to Record Podcasts (www.howtorecordpodcasts.com), which teaches people how to become podcasters.

I live in Madison, WI - which is a great city to come visit. If you've never been, you should make a plan to come visit me up here.

I am a musician for the band Trailer Kings (www.trailerkings.com). Watch me rock out some time!

Finally, I have helped organize events such as BlogWorld & new Media Expo, am an avid member of the Techpodcasts network (www.techpodcasts.com), and a speaker. I have spoken with Mignon Fogarty (Evergreen vs. Expirable content), Steve Garfield, Mike Cioffi (Rate a Podcast), and have taken local stage for many events.

Check me out on Twitter, Facebook and Google+!
