I was born in Ilmenau, a small town in Thuringia, Germany.
After my Computer Science studies in Konstanz (at Lake of Constance/Bodensee) and Stafford, UK, I worked with several Internet providers as a Systems Administrator (mainly with Linux). From 2005 bis 2010 I worked at Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe (Research Center), which now makes up - together with the University - the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
2011 I founded MicialMedia. Core fields are Photography and Social Media.
