Ramsey

Monique Ramsey is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Cosmetic Social Media, a social media and marketing firm dedicated to serving the niche of aesthetic medicine. She melds her two passions, cosmetic surgery marketing and social media, to bring a unique perspective and skill set to her clients.

Monique gained her Designation as a Certified Relationship Marketing Specialist (CRMS) from Mari Smith’s pilot "Mentor with Mari" Social Media Certification program in 2009. Monique was one of the first 37 graduates in the world. Having been personally trained and mentored by internationally acclaimed social media expert and author Mari Smith, Monique has gained deep social media knowledge as well as extensive personal connections in the social media industry. 

With over 20 years of experience in plastic surgery, Monique has a depth of knowledge and experience difficult to find. From her role as Chief Operating Officer in a large, multi-specialty cosmetic surgery and dermatology practice to her duties as Director of Marketing, Monique understands the intricacies of practice management, patient care, patient relationship management, and effective patient communication.

Monique had an integral role in the development of Inform&Enhance practice management software systems (now a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson) and has trained and consulted with cosmetic surgery practices in the US and Canada. In addition, she is a contributor to the book Cosmetic Surgery for Dummies, published by Wiley & Sons.

She holds a Bachelor of Science from The University of Southern California and is an active participant in various San Diego charities and organizations. Monique is passionate about shoes, USC sports, music, and creative endeavors.
