Roxanne Darling
- Professional
I am the CEO of Bare Feet Studios - a web and social media advisory based in Honolulu, HI. We have been web workers since 1996 and bring a uniquely broad range of expertise to our clients. We are experienced developers aka programmers (WordPress and Expression Engine are our platforms of choice these days) and we cover the space all the way to developing social media campaigns. Training and education is a big part of our business - hence our tagline, "Internet Literacy for Business."

I am the founder and producer of Hawaii's first social media conference, Podcamp + WordCamp Hawaii in 2008, an outstanding success with over 400 attendees from Hawaii, Mainland US, Asia, and Europe. Plus, thousands more joined us virtually as we live-streamed our sessions for two full days. The site is still live in case you want to check it out:

We are also founding members of Social Media Club, and the founders of the Hawaii chapter. You can visit our chapter web site at www.smchawaii.org. Please join our free monthly meetings if you are in the islands! We also live stream them as well. If you are a social media wiz, please consider speaking to our group.
We are one of the original Internet TV creators, and our show, Beach Walks with Rox, is now four years old. Please check out our more than 750 episodes, "Sometimes serious, sometimes frivolous, always Aloha" as we walk the beautiful beaches of Hawaii and share some inspiration and beauty.
